Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the Web Manager will be responsible for the integration of the company systems to the website, developing E-Commerce strategy within the business.
Responsibilities:
- To provide line management and leadership of the Web Development team, including full responsibility for the recruitment and retention of staff
- Management of on-going and new development in relation to the company's website and intranet
- Development and management of website system
- To create secure data transfer between web and internal systems
- Design, develop and implement database interfaces
- Train staff to use all new developments and applications identifying time constraints, gathering key resources and conveying needs and requirements in plain English
- To monitor web server and site technical performance
- Reporting to senior management on a monthly basis, detailing current web usage and forthcoming developments
- To create secure data transfer between web and internal systems
- Design, develop and implement database interfaces
- Train staff to use all new developments and applications identifying time constraints, gathering key resources and conveying needs and requirements in plain English
Skills / Qualifications
Required: Qualifications & Assets:
- Proven management of enterprise level websites
- Experience of leading a web development team
- In depth knowledge of Web Development technologies - to include HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, .NET and Apache
- Strong database knowledge specifically MSSQL Server or MySQL
- Excellent communication skills
Minimum Education Level required: Bachelor
Minimum Years of Experience required: 30to 5 Years
