LED Product Engineer
This post requires to be stationed in our Dongguan factory during the normal working week and reports to the team-leader.
General framework of duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):-
Product development phase
- Provides Supervision to a team of LED engineer for design and developments
- Prepare and monitor project development plan, routine project meeting and secure all talks are timely executed.
- Daily communicate with oversea customer and his technical team to discuss/analyze LED product development.
- Work closely with suppliers and related coordinaton's
- Provide sufficient test plan and design test method to obtain true data and avoid failure in serial production.
- Follow up with manufacturing prototype, pilot run and ramp-up productions and make sure all corrective actions are implemented prior to serial production.
Serial Production Phase
- Monitor the transfer from LED development phase to manufacturing phase. This includes plans for development of production test equipment, jigs & fixtures, preparation of work institutions, Quality plan and technical supports
- Provides supervision and necessary training to LED production team
- Monitor supplier's on-time delivery to avoid disruption to production
Requirements for the position include the following:
- Holder of University Degree in Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing or Mechatronic Engineering is preferable
- Sound Knowledge of ISO9000 Quality Management System, FMEA and project plan
- 3-5 years of related working experience.
- Multi-tasking ability, able to work independently, strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua and English
- Experience with MS Office, Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD
- Good relationship, interpersonal and interrelation skills.
